Information sheet on personal data processing EU Regulation No. 679 of 2016
Dear Guest,
in compliance with the legislation in force on the protection of personal data (EU Regulation No. 679 of 2016), we wish to inform you that your personal data will be processed according to principles of fairness, lawfulness and transparency in full respect of your right to privacy.
Your data will be processed by in-house staff duly appointed. It may be disclosed to third-party companies or other entities performing outsourced activities on behalf of the data owner.
Data processing, performed also with the help of IT tools, has the following purposes:
1. to fulfil the public security obligations provided for in Article 109 of Royal Decree No. 773 of 18 June 1931 and subsequent amendments, concerning the reporting of Guests’ personal details to the Police;
2. in general, to comply with the obligations established by law, by a regulation, by a contract, by EU legislation or by an order of the Authority (such as on anti-money laundering);
3. to fulfil the administrative, accounting and tax obligations. The data acquired for these purposes is stored with us for the time provided for by the respective regulations;
4. to speed up registration procedures in case of future stays at our hotel. Your data will be stored for a maximum period of 10 years.
We would also like to inform you that, at any time, you are entitled to exercise the following rights:
a. to have access to your personal data;
b. to obtain the correction or cancellation of the same or the limitation of its processing;
c. to oppose the processing;
d. to obtain data portability;
e. to withdraw your consent, where applicable: the withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the withdrawal;
f. to make a complaint to the supervisory authority (Data Protection Authority).
